The melting viscosity of hot melt adhesives is one of the conventional indexes. Its importance directly affects the selection of construction technology of hot melt adhesives. The use of hot melt adhesives must rely on heating devices to turn solid hot melt adhesives into liquid, different industries, different uses, different physical properties and glue equipment and sizing methods. The different sizing methods determine the different melt viscosity of hot melt adhesives. The common ways of using glue are spray, dot, spray strip, roll coating and scraping. The viscosity of melt is basically low to high. The melting viscosity of hot melt adhesives is not necessarily related to the following ability and bonding ability. It can not be considered that the melting viscosity of hot melt adhesives is good, but should be related to the fluidity of hot melt adhesives.
