The choice and dosage of crosslinking agent have a great influence on the fastness to wear of emulsion. We choose N- light methacrylate, which is a compound with active gene. It can improve the fastness of flocking. By experiment, when the crosslinking agent is 3% to 5%, the emulsion polymerization is stable, and the fastness to abrasion is high. When the dosage is less than 3%, it can be used as a new material. When the dosage is greater than 5%, the stability of the emulsion is poor, and the aggregation of coarse particles increases or even detonates.
In order to facilitate the crosslinking reaction and enhance the fastness of flocking, the emulsion has a thickening property after neutralization. Therefore, adding acrylic acid is better than 4%.
4. selection of initiators
We choose potassium persulfate as the initiator. The experiment shows that when the dosage of initiator is less than 0.3%, the reaction is not easy to initiate or incomplete; when the dosage is more than 0.5%, the reaction is intense or explosive. Therefore, the suitable dosage is 0.3% 1 0.5%.
