Water-based glue classification method
Water based adhesives can be classified as follows.
(1) Aqueous-type water-based adhesives include the following types.
1 Aqueous solutions of natural or modified natural polymers such as some starch or dextrin, cellulose and protein adhesives.
2 An aqueous solution of a synthetic polymer such as polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) or the like.
(2) Water-dispersible or emulsion-type water-based adhesives include the following types. Synthetic resin latexes such as polyvinyl acetate (PVAC), polyacrylates, and the like. Synthetic rubber latex, such as styrene-butadiene, nitrile, neoprene latex, etc.
(3) An aqueous dispersion obtained by emulsifying or dispersing a solid rubber or a resin such as water-based reclaimed rubber or butyl rubber.
(4) Others such as water-based polyurethanes can be obtained by emulsifying or dispersing during the synthesis of non-chain polymerization, or by re-emulsification or dispersion of the prepared ionic polyurethane solids.
